In a recent interview, original Top Gun actor Anthony Edwards shared his thoughts on the long-awaited sequel, Top Gun: Maverick. Edwards, who played Goose in the 1986 classic, had nothing but positive things to say about the new film, saying that it "accomplished its mission."
"I was really impressed with the film," Edwards said. "It's a great story, and it's really well-made. I think Tom Cruise did an amazing job with it."
Edwards also spoke about his own character, Goose, and how he was portrayed in the new film.
"I think they did a great job with Goose," Edwards said. "He's still the same lovable character, but he's also a little more mature. I think it's a really nice evolution of the character."
