Celtics Blow Out Mavericks in Game 1 of NBA Finals

Boston Dominates with Balanced Scoring Effort

Porzingis Returns with 20 Points for Dallas

The Boston Celtics stormed past the Dallas Mavericks, 107-89, to claim Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. The Celtics' balanced scoring attack proved unstoppable, with five players scoring in double figures.

Kristaps Porzingis made his return from a calf injury for the Mavericks, dropping 20 points, including 18 in the first half. However, it was not enough to match the firepower of the Celtics.

Jason Tatum led the Celtics with 29 points, while Jaylen Brown added 20. Al Horford and Derrick White each contributed 15 points, and Marcus Smart chipped in with 12.

The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. They built a 24-point advantage in the first half and maintained their dominance throughout the game.
