Porzingis Leads Celtics to Homecourt Advantage
WEB Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis made a triumphant return from injury on Wednesday night, playing a pivotal role in his team's 118-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The Latvian big man came off the injury report after missing the last four games with a foot issue.
Porzingis made his presence felt immediately, scoring 14 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in the first half alone. He helped the Celtics build a 29-point lead at one point before a late rally by Dallas' Luka Doncic. Doncic hit a three-pointer over Porzingis with just seconds remaining, but it was too little too late.
